In 1923, Owens opened its doors in downtown Rome as a neighborhood hardware and sporting goods store. As local athletics grew, so did we.
Over the decades, Owens evolved into one of the Southeast's leading team sporting goods dealers while remaining family-owned and committed to exceptional customer service. In the early 1980s, we moved to our current location to expand our warehouse and in-house production capabilities.
Today, Owens proudly provides uniforms, equipment, spirit wear, promotional products, online team stores, and in-house decoration for schools and organizations throughout the Southeast.
